Add and manage local partners
Boaz is designed to enable NGOs (EXPs) to inform OPCOs of their
intention to distribute product to a country, or local partner within a
country. This provides you, and the OPCO with greater information about where
you intend to distribute the product. For example:
- Malawi
- Local clinic A
- Local clinic B
- Municipal Hospital A
- Zimbabwe
- Municipal Hospital B
- Municipal Hospital C
- Local Clinic C
In this example, and as need arise, the EXP
can inform the OPCO that they intend to distribute the product at a country
level, Zimbabwe for example. Or, to one or more local partners within Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, the EXP could intend to distribute the product to all the above
local partners. This can all be communicated and managed when responding to offers.
To add your local partners to an offer:
1. First, setup your local partner in Boaz. As an EXP, you can add and edit your own local partners within Boaz from the Users and Organisations module:
2. Add relevant required information about the local partner:

Note:
- It is mandatory to add the Name, Code and Country, while Address and Contact Details can be added optionally.
- The Local Partner code can be something related to your own internal systems, or, use a standard naming convention such as [Country-partner name].
- The Local Partner code must be unique.
3. Click save and close. Now, when you return to an offer you will be able to type search for the partner name in the ‘Add Distribution’ field.
Add a local partner using the quick actions displayed at the top of the products table:
