Update via spreadsheet
Update via spreadsheet allows you to do just that! It is helpful for a number of instances such as when you are working with a particularly large offer, or would like to collaborate with a colleague on the same file:

Note:
- You can not add new distribution countries or local partners using a spreadsheet. You must first do this using the offers interface following these steps.
- The spreadsheet will display grey cells. You are only able to edit information displayed in grey cells, such as units requested. You are not able to edit product information such as product code or name.
- The spreadsheet contains a unique reference (in cell B2)– this must remain unedited.
- The columns and rows must not be rearranged or deleted. Use Excel’s hide column or row feature to reduce on-screen information.
To update an offer via spreadsheet:
1.
Before you download your spreadsheet, and if required add any distribution countries and/or local partners by following
these steps. Ensure you click

to save any pending changes you may have made in-browser.
2. Open the Update Via Spreadsheet section and click the ‘Download offer for edit’ button
3. Open the spreadsheet and edit any information contained within grey cells only. Any changes made to cell that are not grey will not be changed in Boaz when you upload your spreadsheet.
Notice:
- You can view the total units offered in column J
- You can add the quantity of units you intend distribute to a country/local partner in column M
- Column K is the total number of units you are requesting per line item. You will need this figure to sum the total number of units contained for the line item in column J
Field Mapping Example:
Below you can see how a user has added two countries, Malawi
and Zimbabwe to their offer. They have accepted 72 of the 72 units offered to
them, and intend to send 50 units to Malawi and 22 units to Zimbabwe:
When you have finished making changes, save your Excel file and return to Boaz in your browser. Open the Update via spreadsheet section and click to upload and submit your saved Excel file:
5. Now that you have uploaded your file, scroll down to check for any errors on any product lines.

Remember: your edits are not yet saved! You must click

to save the edits you have made.
Now that you have edited your acceptances and distribution, and you have saved your edits, you will need to notify your OPCO using the ‘Notify’ button in the top right corner.
